Eligibility Criteria for the JN Tata Loan Scholarship

To be eligible for these scholarships, you must fulfill the following criteria:

Must be an Indian citizen under 45 years as of June 30, 2025.

Minimum 60% marks in a graduate degree from a recognized Indian university.

Only for full-time postgraduate programs abroad (min. 1-year duration).

Final-year students, current international students with a year left, and those without an offer letter (yet) can apply.

Previous applicants and repaid scholars are eligible.

For undergrad, online/distance programs, short-term courses, or studies in India.

Selection Process for the JN Tata Loan Scholarship?

Phase 1: Online Application (Deadline – 23rd March 2025)

Submit academic, personal, and professional details with an 800-word SoP.

Upload required documents: photo, Aadhar, passport, mark sheets, SoP, and work-related docs (if applicable).

Phase 2: Aptitude Test

Shortlisted candidates take a critical thinking and problem-solving test (not subject-specific).

Results shared within a week via email.

Phase 3: Technical Interview (April–June)

Online interview with subject expert.

Update application with admission letter, test scores, resume, funding details, and one LOR (recommender’s details only).

Focus on academic knowledge and preparedness.

Phase 4: Final Selection (By mid-July)

Submit PAN card, cancelled cheque, and guarantor details.
